Hold My Hand offers a fundamentally different perspective on how services pledging to support Australia's young adults, teenagers and children should serve the community. As the first mental health charity in Australia founded by youth and created for the youth, we wish to become the voice of our generation
What Will We Offer?
As we stray further from reality and into a digital world of text messaging services and websites, we have never been more connected and we have never been more alone.

With over a quarter of surveyed young people aged 15-24 reporting a struggle with a long-term mental or behavioural condition in the National Health Survey, Youth Mental Health is an area that demands change.
We are especially concerned with Early Intervention, Peer Support Education and Reducing Social Stigma. We plan on hosting events and facilitating fundraisers centred around building a community of Australian youth that can share in mental wellness. In the future, we hope to facilitate educational programs in schools to teach the basics of providing peer support to Australian teenagers and children; after all, mental health is the responsibility of us all.

Only by providing the resources and skills our community needs to supporting a friend in need can we hold their hand through the struggle. Not everyone can access therapists or mental health services for varying reasons, but the first thing that we can do is make sure they are not alone.
