For Parents

The relationship between parents and their child is a vital factor in their mental wellness. 'The mental health scores of the 11-17 year age group showed the highest number of significant correlations to family adjustment,' with 'inconsistent parenting, coercive parenting, the parent-child relationship and family... relationship' being common causes (cfre.org.au, 2019). We believe each parent deserves to know the importance of their role and the information needed to protect their child's health. Through developing a trusting and open relationship, parents can play their part, allowing the future youth to share in mental wellness.
